Lloyd Johnston Churchill III, 72, of West Lafayette died Thursday November 10, 2016. On June 23, 1944 he was born in Terre Haute, Indiana to Lloyd Churchill II and Telsa Acuff Churchill. After graduating from Brazil High School in 1964 he join the United States Army service during the Vietnam War. After his return home he drove semi-trucks and then settled into driving for Greyhound until his retirement. Lloyd enjoyed fishing, singing, he had an outgoing personality and never met a stranger.

Lloyd is survived by his children: Rebecca Witt of Houston, Texas; Dara of Louisiana, Jason of Avon; siblings: Ralph Churchill of Houston, Texas; Clifford Churchill, Grace Herring, Shirley Sue Churchill all of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; aunts: Sophia Tompkins, Hattie Churchill; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Lewis Cunningham

Visitation will be on Friday, November, 18, 2016 from 11 A.M. until the Memorial Service at 12 P.M. at Newcomer Funeral Home 925 E. Hanna Ave. Indianapolis 46227.
