Rosalie Barker, age 77, of Beech Grove, Indiana passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2017 in Indianapolis. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on July 9, 1939 to Everett and Elsie (Hudson) Simpson.

Rosalie was an Office Manager at Century Realty Trust for over 30 years.

Rosalie is survived by her children: Gary (Joseph Schilling) Barker of Palmetto, FL; Vickie Ott of Beech Grove; Donna (Mark) Prusiecki; Steven R. Barker and; grandchildren; Amber Ott, Alex and Amy, and great grandchildren; Malachi, Devin, Serenity; sisters; Donna (Leroy) Butler, Joyce Weidner; and a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Louise Kennedy, Aliene Croasman, Geri Dillon.

Funeral Ceremony will be 1:00 pm Monday, February 20, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home located at 925 East Hanna Ave., Indianapolis, Indiana 46227 with Pastor Todd Thompson of New Life Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the service. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
