Corliss “Tommy” Thomas, age 88, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2017. On July 25, 1928 he was born in Alma, West Virginia to Corless Sr. and Gladys (Spencer) Thomas. On April 27, 1952 he married Mary M. Hampton in Indianapolis. Tommy was a maintenance supervisor at Colgate Construction until his retirement in 1993.

Tommy is survived by his children and their spouses: Tommy & Sharon Thomas of Bristow; Donald & Lisa Thomas of Indianapolis; grandchildren: Kyle Thomas, Kayla Thomas, Shanna Locket, Angie Rickelman, Gwen Holensworth; great grandchildren: Kandi, Miranda, Abigail; and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Mary M. Thomas; step-mother: Peg Thomas; sister: Pearl Virginia Bailey.

Funeral ceremony will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 925 East Hanna Ave., Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the service. Interment will be at Washington Park East Cemetery following the funeral.
