Indianapolis - Beverly Joan Albertson, 76, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017.

Mrs. Albertson was born January 15, 1941 in Indianapolis. She was employed as a child care worker for many years, and then as a CDL driver in the transportation industry.

Mrs. Albertson was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard H. Albertson; son, Ricky Overbey; grandson, Christopher Overbey; sister, Charlett Worthington; and parents, Mike and Myrtle Riggle. She is survived by her daughters, Shawn Albertson Wall, Gail Overbey Burke and Jeanne Overbey Taylor; son, Steve Overbey; sisters, Patricia O’Connor and Lora DeSandre; brothers; Ron Gebhart and Mike Riggle; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and many other loving family members and dear friends.

Mrs. Albertson’s family will receive friends Friday, February 24, 2017, from 11 am – 1 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of her life will follow at 1 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Eric Moore officiating.
