James "Jake" Jason Simpson, age 44, of Indianapolis, passed away on March 21, 2017 at his home. He was born in Indianapolis on February 11, 1973 to James D. & Barbara L. (Burchfield) Simpson.

Jake was a graduate of Southport High School class of 1992. Jake was employed as a Security Guard at G4S Security.

Jake is survived by his brothers: Jeffrey D. Simpson, David W. Simpson (Teri) and Darryl J. Simpson (Daun) and his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his girlfriend of several years, Jocelyn Paicely.

Jake was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Joni Lee Simpson Morgan.

Memorial Service will be 7:00 pm Monday, March 27, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home located at 925 East Hanna Ave., Indianapolis 46227. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until the start of the service.
