Ms. Jackson was born August 4, 1923 in Mansfield, IN to the late Alonzo and Pearl Frank. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a secretary for H&H Heating and Cooling. She was a longtime member of Victory Memorial Methodist Church. When it closed several years ago, she transferred her membership to Center United Methodist Church.
Ms. Jackson was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, Ernest Eugene “Gene” Jackson. She is survived by her daughter, Janet G. Agal and her husband, Rev. Steven R. Agal; grandsons, Kevin R. Agal and his wife, Debbie and Timothy R. Agal and his wife, Donna; great grandsons, Michael and Nicholas; great granddaughter, Jessica; and many other loving family members and dear friends.
Ms. Jackson’s family will receive friends Saturday, May 20, 2017, from 10 am – 12 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of her life will follow at 12 pm with Pastor Daniel D. Rasmussen of Center United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Concordia Cemetery.
