1942 - 2017

Sandra M. Luckett, 74, of Greenwood, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017. Sandy was born in Indianapolis on December 31, 1942 to Edward Aaron & Johnetta (Wilkerson) Rouse. Sandy graduated from Arsenal Tech High School; she married Bernard Luckett soon thereafter. Sandy worked at Western Electric for several years; she then went into helping at numerous elementary schools as an Aide. Sandy enjoyed working puzzles, watching the Pacer games, being with her family especially her two grandsons. Sandy had the most giving and loving spirit.

Sandy is survived by her daughter & son-in-law: Francie & Brad Hayes of Indianapolis; sister and brother-in-law: Debbie & Ken Schultz of Greensburg; grandchildren: Nathan Hayes, Joshua Hayes both of Indianapolis; great-granddaughter: Kennedi Renee; and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two brothers: John Rouse, David Rouse.

Visitation will be on Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 4 P.M. until the Funeral Service at 7 P.M. at Newcomer Funeral Home 925 E. Hanna Ave. Indianapolis 46227. On Friday at 9 A.M. their will be a Prayer Service at the Funeral Home then we will go in procession to Floral Park Cemetery. Please visit www.NewcomerIndianapolis.com to sign the guest book.
