Maria D Willis was born in Indianapolis, IN on May 16, 1987. She was the oldest daughter of Thomas Willis and Denise Richardson.

Maria graduated from Northwest High School in 2005. She was a bright fun loving unique person. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and playing cards alone or with any takers. She was also very helpful, with a heart bigger than anyone would ever know. Her favorite pastime was pulling lottery tickets anticipating on that big win. She had a smile that would light up any room, and signature dance moves that not even the best dancers could master. She was most definitely one of a kind.

Maria departed this life on July 23, 2017 at the age of 30 years, 2 months, and 7 days. She leaves to cherish her memory her parents Thomas Willis and Denise Richardson; step mother Dana Willis; step father Martel Richardson; two sisters Alysia and Noel Willis; step sister Avril Bobershmidt; two brothers Thomas and Andrew Willis; paternal grandparents Mary Willis and Timothy Rutledge; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

Funeral Ceremony will be 12:00 pm Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Indianapolis Chapel, 925 East Hanna Ave., Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at New Crown Cemetery.
