Steven W. Pagel, 66, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 7, 2018. An Indianapolis native, Steve was born on March 5, 1951 to William and Dorothy Pagel.

Steve worked for the City of Indianapolis as a mechanic for over 40 years; working on the vehicles for the police department primarily. He retired in 2012 and then again retired in 2014.

Steve is survived by his children and their spouses: Tammy & Robert Bowling; Rick McKinny, Jimmy Pagel, Steven & Bethany Pagel Jr.; grandchildren: Billy, Dennis, Kayla, Steven, Angel, Isabell, Alex, Jordan; great-grandchildren: Emma, Hayden, Olivia, Robert; siblings: Linda, Billy, Jim, Carla, Freddy, Janice, several foster siblings including: Patty, Pat, Janette; foster parents: Mr. & Mrs. Colter; and a host of other family, friends and his dog: Marley.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a twin sister: Stephanie; sisters: Nancy, Doris; step-mothers: Francis Pagel, Peggy Fuji.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 10 A.M. until 12 P.M at Newcomer - Indianapolis Chapel, 925 E. Hanna Ave., IN 46227. A Graveside Service will be conducted following at 1 P.M. at New Crown Cemetery.
