John was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army where he served courageously and with distinction. In 1970, he was awarded the Bronze Star with service cluster in Vietnam. He was also awarded several other citations including the Army Commendation for Meritorious Service.
John was preceded in death by his father, Herschel Fullen; mother, Alice jean Kemp Fullen; and brother, Ralph Fullen. He is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn Fullen; son, JJ Fullen; and sister, Sherry Davis and her husband, Ron.
A committal service will be conducted Monday, April 16, 2018, at 1 pm at West Ridge Park Cemetery, 9295 West 21st Street, Indianapolis, IN 46234.
