Mrs. Courtney was born June 11, 1938 in Bardwell, KY to the late Roy and Sally Powell Dodson. She served her family as a homemaker.
Mrs. Courtney was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert Courtney. She is survived by her daughter, Debra Corcoran and her husband, Kelly; son, Ron Courtney and his wife, Christy; sisters, Alice Cole and Judy Metzger and her husband, Fred; 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and many other loving family members and friends.
Mrs. Courtney’s family will receive friends Tuesday, April 17, 2018, from 4 – 8 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN. A committal service will be conducted privately at Floral Park Cemetery.
