Mike was born January 3, 1964 in Marion, IN to the late James and Toni Copeland. He was employed as a journeyman plumber. He loved to hunt and fish, listen to the comedian, Jerry Clower and play cards. Mike raised Beagles and champion Treeing Walker Coonhounds.
Mike was preceded in death by an infant brother, James Lee Copeland, Jr. He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 30 years, Jeannie Copeland; loving daughter, Anna "Ornery Pup" Copeland; sister, Kimberly Butler and her husband, Jerry; and many other loving family members and friends.
Mike’s family will receive friends Saturday, October 7, 2017, from 1 – 4 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will follow at 4 pm.
