June was born on May 19, 1940 to Reverends Louis and Hazel (Lester) Gibson in Indianapolis. June was married to Thomas Saylor on May 24, 1956. She worked for Balkamp Company for over 30 years retiring as an Inventory Control Clerk. June was a very active lifelong member of Charity Church, especially in the music department.
June is survived by her daughter: Katrina Miller; siblings: Sharon Pugh, Lois Southerland, Rev. David Gibson, Louis Gibson, Daniel Gibson; grandchildren: Jamie Carter; great-grandchildren: Dylan McGlothlin, Rebecca Carter and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter: Cindy Saylor Swegman
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Charity Church 2700 S. Tibbs Ave. Indianapolis 46241 from 4 P.M. until the Funeral Service at 6:30 P.M.
