Indianapolis - Betty Fae Swan, 91, passed away Monday, October 23, 2017.

Mrs. Swan was born September 24, 1926 in Cardinal, WV. She was employed as the head cashier at Standard Food for over 15 years. She retired in 1982. She was a member of VFW Women’s Auxiliary for over 30 years.

Mrs. Swan is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Richard “Dick” Swan; daughter, Patricia Boley; step – daughter, Linda Baker; step-sons, Barry Swan, Garry Swan and Larry Swan; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; nephews, Jack Wallace and Dickie Lynn Tibbs; and many other loving family members and dear friends.

Mrs. Swan’s family will receive friends Thursday, October 26, 2017, from 6 – 8 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of her life will be conducted Friday, October 27, 2017, at the funeral home. A committal service will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
