Hans G. Franson, 77, of Indianapolis passed away on October 15, 2018.

Hans moved from Sweden with his family at the age of 10 and has lived around the United States since. He served in the United States Navy as a submariner. Hans enjoyed woodworking, wood carving, classical music, photography and gymnastics as a young man. He retired from AT&T in 1997 as a Training Manager.

Hans is survived by his wife of 46 years: Maria (Routa) Franson; children: Lisa, Eric, Lori, Brian; grandchildren: Kevin, Kiera, Kasey, Kiana, Kameron, Christopher, Erica, Brittany, Tyler, Felicia, Brianna, Eli, Alyssa, Emma, Sara, Ella, Lia; great-grandchildren: Crimson, Gracie Mae, Michael, Shayln, Deanna, Christian, Steel, Kenneth, Caroline, Parker, Jonah, Aiden; siblings: Lena, Byron: nephews and nieces: Jonathon, Mattheu, Linnea and a host of other family and friends.

Hans was preceded in death by his parents; great-grandson: Dyllan; sister: Amy.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 10 A.M. until his Funeral Service at 11 A.M. at Newcomer - Indianapolis Chapel, 925 E. Hanna Ave., IN 46227. Interment will follow at Roundhill Cemetery.
