David was born March 28, 1964 in Indianapolis, IN to Tinsel and Melva Eddleman. He grew up in Brownsburg, IN and graduated from Brownsburg High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping as well as reading a good science fiction book.
He was an honorably discharged veteran of the Army National Guard where he served for two years. After his time in the service, David moved to Brownsville, TX where he enjoyed swimming, sailing and fishing on South Padre Island. He later returned to Indianapolis and started a general contracting company and later, an automotive repair business. David’s family described him as the first person to help someone in need and a loving and devoted father who lived for his children.
David is survived by his daughter, Jeanna Eddleman; son, Thomas Barerra; mother, Melva Eddleman; sister, Barbara Allison; brother, Eric Eddleman; former wife, Marla Perez; and many other loving family members and friends.
David’s family will receive friends Tuesday, November 27, 2018, from 3 – 5 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will follow at 5 pm. Please have flowers delivered to the funeral home.
