Indianapolis – David A. Meyers, 64, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018.

David was born November 6, 1954 in Indianapolis. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was employed by Ryder/Dickinson Fleet Services for 41 years.

David was preceded in death by his father, William David Meyers and his step-father, Kenneth J. Brown. He is survived by his son, David A. Meyers II and his wife, Ashley; mother, Martha J. Brown; sisters, Vyckee Doyle, Debra Busbin, Cynthia Henry and Lisa Brown; brothers, William Meyers and Arthur Meyers; grandchildren, Emmie Rose Meyers and Greyson Meads; and many other loving family members and friends.

David’s family will receive friends Thursday, December 20, 2018, from 4 – 8 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will follow Friday, December 21, 2018, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
