Indianapolis - Paula K. (Thombleson) Woodall, 72, went home to the Lord Monday, January 7, 2019.
Paula was born July 9, 1946 in Indianapolis, IN. She served her family predominantly as a homemaker. She was a loving wife to her husband, Jerry M. Woodall, Sr. for 40 wonderful years. She was a loving mother to their three children, Kathy Upshaw, Jerry M. Woodall, Jr., and Jeffrey A. Woodall, Sr. (Bobbie). She loved being Nana to her eight grandchildren, Randee Lantz, Scott Gill, Kayla Richart (Darin), Jeffrey A. Woodall, II, Michael Woodall (Jamie), Carolyn Woodall, T.J. Woodall and Diamond Woodall, as well as five great grandchildren, Layla Wilson, A.J. Wilson, Ellie Richart, Gracelynn Woodall and Dahlia Woodall.
Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Lee Thombleson; sister-in-law, Edna Cherry; and son-in-law, Neil Upshaw. She is survived by her husband, Jerry; their three children; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Ann Slate; nephew, David Osborn; and niece, Karen Ray (Stan).
Paula’s family will receive friends Friday, January 11, 2019, from 5 – 9 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227.
