Indianapolis - Janet Sue Strunk, 64, departed this life on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis, surrounded by her family. Born September 11, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Dilmond Strunk and Laura Strunk Robinette of Indianapolis.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Strunk; infant sisters, Evelyn Kay and Deloris Faye Strunk; and sister-in-law, Sherry Strunk. She is survived by the father of their children, Eddie D. Strunk of Huntsville; daughter, Connie Strunk Whaley and her fiancé, Jeremy Adkins of Straight Fork; son, Eddie Strunk and his wife, Brandi of Oneida; grandchildren, Trey, Chelsea, Isaiah and Elijah Whaley, Heavyn Leigh, Kira Zhaan, Arian Strunk and Jeremiah Adkins and his wife, Shyann; great grandchild, Allie Mae Adkins; brothers, Kenny Strunk and his wife, Lavonne of Annadell, Bo Strunk of Indiana, Delbert Sexton and his, wife, Angela of Georgia; sisters, Imogene Coble and her husband, Bob, Betty Strunk and her husband, Larry and Ruby Chambers all of Indiana; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, March 9, 2019, at 12:00 p.m. at Sexton Memorial Cemetery with Brother Dudley Harness officiating. Singing will be provided by Jealene Crowley Phillips, Tony West and Jimmy Crowley.
