Cornelia “Kay” Sinkhorn of Indianapolis was born on November 6, 1937 in Edinburg to Gilbert and Helen McQuin. She passed peacefully at home on July 10th, 2019.
Kay was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her family never went without, even taking in families when they had nowhere else to go, adopting kids and grandkids every chance she got. She had a wry sense of humor and was stubborn as a mule. Her hobbies included watching crime shows, walking, reading, and spoiling her grandkids.
Kay is survived by her children: Steve Sinkhorn, David Sinkhorn, Teresa (Sinkhorn) Schmitt, Donald (Jilayne) Sinkhorn, Laura Sinkhorn, Darren Sinkhorn; 18 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; sister: Jacqueline (McQuin) Hartman; brother: Danny McQuin and a host of other family and friends.
