Indianapolis - Rosie Lee Davis, 86, passed away Friday, January 3, 2020. She was born November 5, 1933 in Hestand, KY to the late Marvin and Florida Young. Rosie and her late husband Paul enjoyed going to garage sales and flea markets as well as visiting family in Kentucky as often as possible. Additionally, she loved flowers and enjoyed making beautiful floral arrangements. Rosie took great pride in her appearance. No matter what the occasion, from her clothes to her matching jewelry and her weekly trips to the hair salon, Rosie was always dressed to the hilt.

Rosie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Paul W. Davis; granddaughter, Emily Davis; great-grandson, Reed Rudolphi; and brother, Randall Young. She is survived by her daughter, Barb Gary; sons: Mitchell “Mitch” Davis and his wife, Mary Lu, Mike Davis and his partner, Tim, David Davis and his wife, Suzanne and Doug Davis and his partner, Melissa; eight (8) grandchildren; nine (9) great-grandchildren; four (4) sisters; one (1) brother; and many other beloved family members and friends.

Rosie’s family will receive friends Wednesday, January 8, 2020, from 11 am – 1 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A committal service will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at 1:30 pm.
