Daniel Robert "Danny" Neylon
1962 - 2020

Daniel "Danny" Robert Neylon, 58, passed away on Sunday October 18, 2020 in Indianapolis. Danny was born on August 15, 1962 in Beech Grove, IN to Robert and Patricia (Foster) Neylon. He attended Roncalli High School and was a member of St. Roch Catholic Church.

As a boy, Danny often helped his dad with various projects by “shining the light”. This is where his knowledge base for fixing things came from...his dad. Although he was a carpenter by trade, and had excellent skills in working with wood; he could fix anything. He often helped his beloved family and many friends in what their needs might be, and this attribute started at an early age from helping his parents with tasks such as surprising his mom by cleaning the kitchen for her. Danny was also a lover of music, and his family describes him as an excellent cook. Outside of cooking and fixing things, Danny was also an animal lover, and was referred to as the "Dog Whisperer" by family and friends for his ability to train any dog. He had many beloved pets over the years, but a few of them were extra special. These included, Zach, Sheba, Youngun, & old dog.

Danny is survived by his daughter, Jessica Neylon; granddaughter, Makayla Ludlow; mother, Patricia (Foster) Neylon; siblings: James Neylon, Tom (Elizabeth) Neylon, Kenneth Neylon, Michael (Tiffany) Neylon and Cheryl (Donnie) Davis; brother-in-law, Richard Buchanan; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Danny was preceded in death by his father, Robert Neylon, sister, Lisa Nelson, nephews: Christopher Neylon and Tyler Buchanan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM Friday October 23, 2020 at St. Roch Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from Noon until the time of the service Friday at the church.
