He graduated from Emmerich Manual High School. He worked as a carpenter with his step-father at 3-Way Construction and eventually started his own company, Clement's Construction. Joe was an avid NASCAR, motorcycle and antique car fan. He enjoyed spending time with family and having a cold beer. Joe loved bowling and especially pranking his friends and family. He was a wonderful son, father and brother.
He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Ila Banta, father, Joseph J. Clements, Sr. and step-father, Thomas Banta. Additionally, he was proceeded in death by his daughter, Tracy Clements and siblings, Mary Ilene Banta, James A. Clements and Mark A. Clements.
Joe is survived by his children, Christina Himes and her husband, Dave, Tony Clements and his wife, Connie and Steven Clements; and his siblings, Pam Mabbit Rosier, Janice Woods, Teri Furr and her husband, Earl, Thomas Banta and his wife, Kim and Darlene Abplanalp and her husband, Jeff.
Joe’s friends and family may visit from 4 – 5 PM on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. The celebration of life will follow at 5 PM at the funeral home. For the health and safety of all guest attending, face masks are required. Thank you. Please join the family at Schneider's Pub at 6 PM to continue to celebrate Joe's life.
