Indianapolis - James Randall “Jim” Stevens, 67, passed away Friday, October 15, 2021. He was born November 24, 1953 in Beech Grove, IN to James E. Stevens and the late Delois Ryan Stevens. Jim was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Navy. He was employed in the medical industry where he served as a maintenance and housekeeping supervisor.

Jim was preceded in death by his mother, Delois Ryan Stevens. He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Janice M. Stevens; father, James E. Stevens; sons: Jason A. Stevens and his wife, Deborah, Joseph A. Stevens and James C. Stevens; daughter, Jessica M. Pryor and her significant other, Andrew Williams, Jr.; brothers: Mike F. Stevens and his wife, Judy, Jeff S. Stevens and his wife, Terri and Jack E. Stevens and his wife, Jan; 8 grandchildren; and many other loving family members and dear friends.

Jim’s family will receive friends Thursday, October 21, 2021, from 11 am – 1 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will follow at 1 pm with Pastor Amos Graham officiating. Military funeral honors will be conducted by members of the United States Navy.
