Neil Edward Spurling, age 62, of Anderson, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Ascension St. Vincent Seton Hospital in Indianapolis following a brief illness. He was born April 9, 1960 in Marion, IN the son of Charles E. and Marilyn J. (Tweedy) Spurling. Neil married ML STands Rugman on July 24, 2017. He was self-employed as a roofing contractor (All Star Building Corporation) and he took great pride in working hard. Neil lived best when having sunrise devotions with his wife, riding his Harley motorcycles, dancing in kitchens, and listening to his favorite Gospel music on LOUD. He was a fan of all things NASCAR, Colts, Pacers and John Wayne movies. Neil loved to laugh and spend time with his beloved family, and especially enjoyed his grandchildren. He felt a strong conviction to teach his grandchildren about Jesus. Neil knew he was a child of the Lord and gave all the glory to God for all his earthly gifts and blessings.
Neil is survived by his wife, ML STands Spurling; parents, Charles E. and Marilyn J. Spurling; sister, Karen Bradshaw; brother, Kent Spurling; Four children, William Spurling, Emily (husband Cassel) Burriss, Lacy Hoesman, and Austin Wiggins-Hoesman and his Nine grandchildren, Cassel Burriss, Joanna Burriss, Lucy Burriss, Nikolas Burriss, Milo Hoesman-Stoops, Emma Caswell, Dominic Wiggins-Hoesman, Theodore Wiggins-Hoesman and Lillian Wiggins-Hoesman.
