Harold T. Humphries, age 86, of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017. He was born in Paris, Kentucky on February 24, 1931 to Thomas and Jessie (Fisher) Humphries both of whom precede him in death.

Harold service in the United States Army and meet his wife Joyce Shaw whom he married on June 29, 1957 in Redwood City, California. Harold was a Heavy Equipment Operator at American Aggregates Stone Quarry until his retirement in 1996 after 44 years of service.

Harold is survived by his wife; three sons: Richard & Mary Humphries of Harrisburg, IL; David Humphries and his fiancé, Patricia Tomlinson; Kenneth Humphries and his companion Sylvia Lucas; all of Indianapolis; brother: Gary & Glenda Tuttle of Hampton, Georgia; grandchildren: Jamie, Margo, Corey, Bridget, Kris, Robert, Thomas, Joseph; great-grandchildren: Natalie, Robert, Breanna, Karle, Jackie, Ada; and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral Ceremony will be 1:00 pm Friday, March 10, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Indianapolis Chapel, 925 East Hanna Ave., Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the service with interment following at New Crown Cemetery.
