Joseph A. Moorhead, 69, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away May 28, 2017.
He was born on September 7, 1947 to his parents Rose & Joseph Moorhead, Sr. both of whom precede him in death. He worked for Quaker Oats as a supervisor/ fork lift driver for 21 years which he enjoyed very much. Soon after he married his wife Joni of 22 years. He also liked working on cars and small engines. He enjoyed working on his hobbies in the garage like working with his tools. He loved his dogs, Buddy and Penelopea.
His is survived by his wife, Joni J. Moorhead; daughters, Lisa (David) Pygman, Kim Philpot; sons, Tim (Tammy) Moorhead, Joseph (Angie) Moorhead, III, Ronnie (Christie Hall) Goins, Eric (Cassie Mitchell) Moorhead; and 12 grandchildren with one more expected in October; 8 great grandchildren who he shared special moments with: his brothers, Denny, Donny, Brian; his sisters, Donna and Debbie; step-siblings, Joseph, Raymond, Marion, and Judy; and a host of other family and friends.
