Indianapolis - Nellie Lenora Grider, 80, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017.

Mrs. Grider was born December 29, 1936 in Indianapolis, IN. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by White Castle as a food service associate. She loved Elvis, playing euchre, bingo and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Grider was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth “Kenny” Grider. She is survived by her daughters, Ruth Meadows and Debra Merriman; sons, Michael Grider and Edward Grider and his companion, Brenda Hodges; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many other loving family members and friends.

Mrs. Grider’s family will receive friends Thursday, June 22, from 12 – 2 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of her life will follow at 2 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be conducted at Orchard Hill Cemetery.
