Mr. Drury was born April 11, 1948 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Herman and Margaret Drury. He was employed by O’Reilly Auto Parts where he served as a parts delivery driver. Mr. Drury was a member of Drexel Garden Apostolic Church and the Independent Pleasure and Benefit Club. He enjoyed watching sports particularly the Indianapolis Colts.
Mr. Drury is survived by his beloved wife of 17 years, Debra Drury; step-son, Shawn Marlow; sister, Jane Brooks; and many other loving family members and friends.
Mr. Drury’s family will receive friends, Thursday, August 31, 2017, from 10 am – 1 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will follow at 1 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Kenneth Coffman, Rev. Merrill Weir, Jr. and Darrel Coffman officiating. Interment will be conducted at Lincoln Memory Gardens, 6851 South Indianapolis Road, Whitestown, IN 46075.
