Tina L. DeWitt, 48, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 23, 2017 as the result of a brief illness.

Tina was born on December 30, 1968 in Louisville, Kentucky to Ferman and Virginia (Wesley) Sherrill. After graduating from Broad Ripple High School in 1987 she went to A Cut Above Beauty School and has worked as a Beautician and Instructor for the last 30 years. Most recently she taught at Empire Cosmetology School. Tina loved her son and loved living life to the fullest.

Tina is survived by her husband: Mark DeWitt; son: Paul DeWitt; sister and brother-in-law: Sissy and James Wilson; a niece: Chellsea, 2 nephews: Zachary, Jacob, a great-niece: Aubree, 4 great nephews: Trenton, Jaxon, Reece, Carter and a host of other family and friends.

Tina was preceded in death by her parents; daughter: Hillary Wilson; sister: Roseanne Sherrill.

Funeral Ceremony will be 12:30 pm Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Indianapolis Chapel, 925 E. Hanna Ave., Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. Visitation will be from 10:30 am until the service. Interment will follow at Concordia Cemetery.
