Indianapolis – Joseph “Joe” Waskom, 69, went home to be with the Lord Monday, October 26, 2015.
Mr. Waskom was born September 17, 1946 in Seymour, IN. He was a criminal investigator for the Internal Revenue Service. He was a long time member at Mt. Pleasant Christian Church. Mr. Waskom was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons at Southport Lodge #270 in Indianapolis, IN. He was also a 32nd Degree member of the Scottish Rite of Indianapolis.
Mr. Waskom is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Jan Waskom; son, Joseph Sigel Waskom II; daughter, Jennifer Bauer; and four grandchildren.
A celebration of Mr. Waskom’s life will be conducted Friday, October 30, 2015, at 5 pm at the chapel at Mt. Pleasant Christian Church at 381 North Bluff Road in Greenwood, IN.
