Indianapolis - Sheldon Bryant, 59, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018.

Mr. Bryant was born July 18, 1958, in Cincinnati, OH, to the late Clifford and Bernice Bryant. He was employed at Rosegate Nursing Home where he served in housekeeping. His family described him as a very hardworking man, who loved to work (for Wendy) and provide for his family. He would do for others when he wouldn’t do for himself.

Mr. Bryant was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Lawrence Young. He is survived by his beloved wife, Pauline Young; sons, DeAulo and Dante Walton; daughters, Clintnita Barbee, Keesha Young and Victoria Young-Harris; sisters, Celeste Bryant and Diana "Boo" Bryant; grandchildren, Nehemiah and Christianae; favorite cousin, Sheila; and many other loving family members and friends.

Mr. Bryant’s family will receive friends Friday, March 16, 2018, from 10 am – 12 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will begin at 12 pm at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at New Crown Cemetery in Indianapolis.
