Mr. Groves was born April 25, 1953 in Zionsville, IN. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Groves served his community as a mechanic. His brothers described him as a great brother and a laid-back kind of guy. He loved to fish and spend time outdoors, but his favorite thing to do was spend time with his family.
Mr. Groves is survived by his son, Herschel Lee Groves, Jr.; brothers, Tracy Windle and Ron Windle; sister, Cindy Windle; 2 grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
Mr. Groves’ family will receive friends Tuesday, September 18, 2018, from 2 – 4 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227.
