Thomas Nickels, 67, of Greenwood, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019. Tom was born in Indianapolis to Joseph & Dorothy (Ott) Nickels on May 17, 1951.

Tom retired from Conagra Brands after working for over 24 years, and previously at H&N advertising and display. Tom enjoyed his family, playing poker and getting to go to the casino, fishing and watching Colts Football.

Tom is survived by his wife of 32 years: Tammy (Scarbrough) Nickels; sons: Carl Coe and his wife Karen; Brandon Nickels; siblings: Ralph Nickels, Agnes & Lonnie Zimmerman, Robert Englert, Nancy Schilling, Dennis & Sharron Englert, Melodie & Mike Dovel; grandson: Anthony Coe; 3 step-grandchildren; 7 step-great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents; step-dad: Edward Englert; brother: Joseph Nickels III.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 3 P.M. until his Funeral Service at 5 P.M. at Newcomer - Indianapolis Chapel, 925 E. Hanna Ave., IN 46227. Visitation will continue until 7 P.M. following the service.
