David Lee Fletcher, 52, of Indianapolis passed away on September 3, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.

David was an avid sports fanatic, especially when it came to the Pittsburgh Steelers and Chicago Bulls; he loved all kinds of music, spending time with his family and friends, David was a really good cook and find reason to have a verbal sparring match (always with love). David worked at DHL for the last 7 years and was loved by his coworkers.

David is survived by his wife: Carla (Bocock) Fletcher; sons: Matthew Wallen, Aaron Michael Wallen, Collin Weddle; grandchildren: Zackary Wallen, Athena Wallen, Jaxson Wade; cousins: Rebecca Whitlock Bell (Curtis), Stacia Whitlock Wilcox (Joe), Freddie Whitlock and a host of other family and friends.

David was preceded in death by his parents: Thomas “T.C.” & Pauline (Uzzell) Fletcher; cousins: Jessie “Jr.” Whitlock, Felecia Whitlock.

Visitation will be on Friday, September 13, 2019 at Newcomer - Indianapolis Chapel, 925 E. Hanna Ave., IN 46227 from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. On Saturday, September 14 visitation will be from 10 A.M. until his funeral service at 11 A.M. at Northside Church of Christ 1356 5th Ave Terre Haute 47807. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
