In Memory Of
Katelyn Ariel "Kate" Golden
1993 - 2019
Kate attended Hoosier Youth Challenge Academy where she learned 8 core components: life coping skills, academic excellence, job skills, health and hygiene, responsible citizenship, service to the community, leadership and followership and physical fitness. She graduated in 2011 and went on to Paul Simon Chicago Job Corps. She received her GED from Penn Foster. She earned her certificate in Material Handling in 2013.
Kate’s family described her as an energetic young lady who would give you the shirt off of her back if you needed it. She had a contagious smile that lit up whatever room she happened to be in and her goofiness made everyone laugh. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Left to cherish Kate’s memory are her mother, Seniqueca Chase (Dameon Hall); father, Stephen Andre Golden; children, De’Marion L. Digby and Makhi D. Allen; siblings: Rayshonette Woods (Eric Jones), Rene’ Oliver (Dantrell), Andre Golden (Faith), William Granberry, Jr., Bria Monroe, Jasmine Renae Hall, Dameon Hall, Jr., Shavon L’Oreal Golden, Stephen Andre Golden, Jr., Chassidy Aariel Golden and Avante Andre Golden; great grandmother, Marie O'Neal; grandparents, Kathryn O’Neal and David Chase; and many other beloved family members and dear friends.
