Indianapolis – Steven R. Deppe, 71, passed away on December 14th, 2019 at his residence. Steven was born on February 8th, 1948 in Indianapolis to his parents Harold and Beulah Deppe (Pinnick).

He worked in the Heating and Air Condition industry, was a Cabinet maker, and prior to retiring he worked in automotive sales. He enjoyed to study history and quiz his grandchildren. Steven’s joking personality and quick wit will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. He had a special bond with his sons, Sean as they enjoyed racing go karts and golfing every year on Memorial Day with Dwayne.

He is survived by his adoring wife, Edna, sons; Dwayne (Alma) Deppe of Bargersville and Sean Deppe, of Indianapolis; daughter, Kimberly Deppe (Mike Silvia) of Indianapolis; sisters; Debra Shelby and Cheryl Basey, twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Beulah and brother David A. Deppe

Mr. Deppe’s family will receive friends Tuesday December 17, 2019 from 11 am -1 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will be conducted at 1 pm at the funeral home. A committal service will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in Greenwood.
