Nancy Peel, 80, passed away Monday, December 23, 2019. Nancy was born June 13, 1939 in Eccles, West Virginia to coal miner, Albert and Violet Tarr (Holt). Prior to her retirement in 1994 she was employed by Jenn Air. She enjoyed bowling, flower gardening, and fishing.

Mrs. Peel was preceded in death by her husband, James N.L Peel whom passed on November 6, 2017 and daughters, Sandra Peel and Cherie Coffman.

She is survived by her daughters Patty Covert and her husband, James and Teresa Tibbs and her spouse, Renee; son, James Peel; Connie Snyder and her husband, Larry, Judy Luna and her husband, Melvin, Rebecca Groce and her husband, Terry; grandchildren; James Jr and Brian Covert; great grandchildren, and many other loving family members and friends.

Mrs. Peel’s family will receive friends, Saturday, January 4, 2020, from 10 am – 12 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of her life will follow at 12 pm at the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow at New Crown Cemetery, 2101 Churchman Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46203.
