In Memory Of
Claude E. Denniston
1948 - 2020
During his working career, Claude was a plumber and electrician at Edwards Electrical and Mechanical before retiring in 2012 after 18 years of service. Claude was a faithful fan of Notre Dame football. He also enjoyed watching the NFL and following the Washington Redskins. On a local level, Claude would spend his summer months watching Little League baseball games. As a result of his technical training and vocation, Claude could repair anything around his home and was always looking for special projects to do around his house with his 2 sons.
Along with his loving wife Kathy, Claude leaves behind a living legacy consisting of his sons, Zach and Nick Denniston both of Indianapolis; daughter, Debra Montani of Indianapolis; mother, Velma Denniston of Indianapolis; sister, Patricia (husband Bob) Striebeck of Bloomington, IN; and a host of other family members and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Erich Denniston; father, Zeno Claude Denniston; brothers, Richard Daughtery, Teddy Daughtery; and sister, Alicia Bertram.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions can be made in Claude's name to the American Heart Association.
A visitation for Claude will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions located at 925 East Hanna Ave., Indianapolis, Indiana 46227.
