Indianapolis - Cheryl Baldock, 69, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020. She was born May 11, 1950 in Indianapolis to the late Harold and Beatrice Woolwine Eakle. She was employed as a supervisor in the fast food and hotel industries.

Cheryl enjoyed watching old TV shows and playing Candy Crush. She loved getting on Facebook to see (and steal) pictures of all her grandkids and great grandkids. She loved singing and dancing, especially to Travis Tritt. While she had many interests, what she loved most was spending time with her family especially her kids and grandkids.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her sister, Wendy Roach. She is survived by her daughters: Tammy Baldock (Robert Rippey) Alexander, Tracy Baldock Wiarek, Rhonda (John) Lawson and Alicia Baldock Barnhill; son, Richard Baldock; brothers, Harold and Richard Eakle; sisters: Linda Eakle, Vicki Eakle, Michelle Eakle (Randy) Dorris and Kim Eakle; 28 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren; and many other loving family members and dear friends.

Cheryl’s family will receive friends Wednesday, March 18, 2020, from 4 – 8 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of her life will be conducted Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 10 am at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Agee officiating. A committal service will be follow at New Crown Cemetery.
