Indianapolis - Argentina Adah Yvonne Hayes, 66, passed away Friday, June 5, 2020. She was born November 27, 1953 in Corpus Christi, TX to the late Joseph and Beatrice Aguilar Broussard. Argentina was a Chiracahua Apache and Cherokee Native American. She was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Navy. She was employed as a truck driver. Additionally, she was very involved as an activist for women’s right and civil rights for Native Americans.
Argentina is survived by her daughter, Lorraine Broussard and her husband, Josh Burgess; sons, Brian Hayes and his wife, Allison and Brian Steiner and his wife, Kelli; sister, Ambrosia Broussard – Evans; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and many other beloved family members and dear friends.
