Clifford was an honorably discharged veteran of the Army National Guard where he proudly served from 1962-1964. He was employed by General Motors where he served as a maintenance technician for over 32 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching professional boxing, playing cards, cooking (especially barbecue) and spoiling his children.
Clifford was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Telsa Acuff Churchill and his brothers: Lewis Cunningham, Ralph Churchill and Lloyd Churchill, III. He is survived by his beloved wife, Euola Churchill; children: Kent Churchill, Aaron Churchill, Lanee Briscoe-Churchill, Karen Cantrell and Deon Churchill; bonus children: Gary Jackson, Yolanda Johnson and Diane Jackson; sisters, Grace Herring and Shirlee Churchill; and many other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, beloved family members and dear friends.
Clifford’s family will receive friends Friday, June 26, 2020, from 11 am – 1 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will follow at 1 pm at the funeral home.
