Indianapolis – Shirley Jean Moore, 80, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2020. She was born February 5, 1940 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Raymond and Juanita Copeland Reed. Prior to her retirement in 2010, she was employed by DHL where she served as a secretary for over 15 years.

Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Clarence “Sonny” Moore, and her daughter, Kathy Sandoval. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Padgett and her husband, Dean; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members and close friends.

Mrs. Moore’s family will receive friends Thursday, August 6, 2020, from 4 – 8 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A graveside service will be conducted Friday, August 7, 2020, at 10 am at Lincoln Memory Gardens, 6851 South Indianapolis Road, Whitestown, IN 46075.

In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Moore’s family requests that donations be made, in her honor, to your local chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
