Danny Ray Shane, 60, of Indianapolis passed away on September 20, 2020 at his home. Danny was born on May 2, 1960 to Lee Ray Shane and Julie (Bishop) Pierce. He worked in construction and for Quality Steel prior to his retirement. If you knew Danny, you know he loved to build things. Described as the 'Life of the Party', Danny loved to be surrounded by people, and he loved spending time with his grandchildren. When not building things or entertaining people, Danny loved to race his demolition cars, his four-wheelers and ride his motorcycles.

Danny is survived by his children: Lisa (Chris) Wickline, Julie Fowler, Danny and Tommy Shane; grandchildren: Christopher, Deven, Ashley, Krysta, Anthony, Aaron, Bradlee, Kaiden and Malachi; three great-grandchildren; sisters: Hallie and Corrine and brother Dennis. 

Funeral services for Danny will be at 11:30 AM Tuesday September 29, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions 925 East Hanna Avenue Indianapolis. Burial will be in the Beech Cemetery at 3:00 PM Tuesday, September 29, 2020 in Coal City, IN. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, September 28, 2020 at the funeral home.
