Beech Grove - Randall K. “Randy” Spears, 65, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 at Franciscan St. Francis Health. He was born November 8, 1955 in Burkesville, KY to Grace Jessie and the late Lester Spears. He was employed as a machinist.

Randy was a graduate of Mt. Vernon High School. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Marine Corps where he served from 1973-1977. He loved watching sports, going camping and spending time with his family, particularly his grandchildren.

Randy was preceded in death by his father, Lester K. Spears and his brothers, Ronnie and Ricky Spears. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jean D. Spears; daughter, Brandi Spears; sons, Randall Spears II and his wife Angela, and Michael Parrish; grandchildren: Brooklynn, Jordan, Tommy, Ashlei, Isaiah, Rylan and Reayna; great grandchildren, Michael and Baylee; mother, Grace Jessie; brothers, Adam Spears and Thomas Jessie and his wife, Tammy; sister, Lib Knight and her husband, Chuck; and many other loving family members and friends.

Randy’s family will receive friends Thursday, February 18, 2021, from 4 – 8 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. For the health and safety of all guests attending, face masks are required.
