Judith Ann Murphy, age 83, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away at 2:22 a.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at her residence. She was the loving daughter of the late Herbert Wayne and Rhoena Verle (Tabor) Sare born on June 15, 1938 in Bloomington, Indiana.

Judith graduated from Beech Grove High School, class of 1956. She worked as a bartender at Expo Bowl for nearly 20 years.

Judith enjoyed dancing and reading. She was fond of flower gardening. Judith loved her pet collie named Harley and listening to Elvis Presley. She will be deeply missed.

Judith is survived by her loving children, Cathy Yeager, Karen Kegley, Kim Collins, Christie Duckworth, Michael Glover, Scott Freers and Steve Freers; her brother, Jerry Sare; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jim Sare.

Judith’s guest may visit from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 4, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. The funeral ceremony will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Petty officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 734 North Morgantown Road, Greenwood, Indiana 46142.
