Indianapolis, IN – Ms. Joann Smith passed away in Indianapolis, IN on September 23rd, 2021 at Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital. She entered into life on December 3rd, 1956 in Columbus, IN. Born to mother Eberal (Henson) Connor of Broadhead, KY and father Stanley Smith of Edmonton, KY.
JoAnn found delight in her cat Whiskers, joy in music, and satisfaction with woodworking.
She is survived by her longtime friend and companion Norma Shea, her son Aaron Smith Sr., her siblings Alan Smith (Debbie), and Gary Smith (Anita), her grandchildren Aaron Smith Jr., and Casey Smith, and nieces and nephews Michael Smith, Sheryl Smith, Angel Sharp, Candy Miller, Charity Hiten, and Heather Franscoviak.
She is preceded in death by her parents Eberal Connor and Stanley Smith, and her brother Stanley Dwayne Smith.
