Gary was a true lover of life and to those who surrounded him. He was a free spirit who "Was Born to Ride" his custom Harley Davidson Super Glide. Gary had an infectious personality with a great sense of humor. He had a huge heart and would do anything he could to help a friend or stranger. In addition to his "Harley life," he enjoyed fishing and deer hunting. Most of all he loved his family and friends and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Gary is survived by his loving siblings Connie Bowling of Fountaintown, IN, Linda (Randall) Miller of Indianapolis, IN, Cathy "Young Catherine" Denny of Indianapolis, IN, Laura Sue (David) Watson of Providence, KY, Lonnie (Joyce) Luster of Columbia, KY, Alvin (Lori Cowen) Luster of Brown County, IN, Rich (Linda) Catron of Beech Grove, IN, (Robert Karen) Catron of Beechgrove, IN, Randy Catron of Indianapolis, IN, Jeff (Mary) Catron of Indianapolis, IN; special friend and companion, Roseann O'Brien of Indianapolis, IN; 22 nieces and nephews, 26 great-nieces and nephews and countless dear friends.
A visitation for Gary will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2022, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN. Funeral services celebrating Gary's life will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at New Crown Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
