Brittney Elizabeth Cox
1986 - 2022

Lebanon - Brittney Elizabeth Cox, 35, peacefully entered into rest Saturday, January 1, 2022, at her home. She was born January 26, 1986 in Atlanta, GA to James Hamm and Angeleena Thompson. She was the light and energy of any room she entered. She always knew how to make everyone laugh.

Brittney found her calling in breeding and selling exotic fish. She was known as a legendary fish empress among thousands of colleagues in the online communities that she built. She would do absolutely anything for any of her loved ones, especially her children. She was intelligent, beautiful and loving. She will be missed immensely by all who knew her.

Brittney was preceded in death by her sons, Bradley and Brandon Allbritten, and her grandmother, Ethel Marie Prince. She is survived by her husband, Ian Cox; daughter, Gracie Hamm; sons, Gavin and Devin Browning; mother, Angeleena Thompson; father, James Hamm; siblings: Matthew Hamm, Rosalina Thompson, Connie Thompson, Rebekah Hamm and Kaylee Ivey (Pitts); and countless other dear family members and friends.

Brittney’s family will receive friends Friday, January 7, 2022, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at New Hope Christian Church, 5780 South Main Street, Whitestown, IN 46075. A celebration of Brittney's life will follow at 1:00 pm at the church with Pastor David Bourne officiating.
