Wendi L. Donovan Bay, 54 of Beech Grove and formerly of South Carolina passed away unexpectedly, on Saturday, April 23, 2022. Wendi was born on March 30th, 1968 in West Virginia to Gerald Donovan and Sheila (Crawford) Rainbolt. She had various jobs throughout her life, warehouse work, line cook and house cleaning. She spent over 20 years living in South Carolina where she enjoyed the Beach life. The past few years she moved back to Indiana to be closer to more family, especially her grandchildren whom she loved and adored.

Wendi is survived by her mother Sheila Rainbolt and step father Michael Rainbolt; 2 brothers, Jerry and Mike Donovan; 1 sister Amy Fidler; step brother, Mike Rainbolt all from Indianapolis; 2 daughters, Heather (Shawn) Deane and Rachel (Bill) Bay both of Beech Grove; 3 sons, Neil, Zachariah and Jacob Bay all from South Carolina; 8 grandchildren, Cora Deane, Killian Deane, Keaton Deane, Rhett Deane, Cayden Foster, Willow Rader all from Beech Grove, Charlie and Elijah Bay, and Silas Newhouser from South Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.

Wendi is preceded in death by her father, Gerald Donovan; 2 sons Kyle Bay and *Joseph Linneman; step sister Tuwanna Tulp; and mother and father-in-law, Dale and Patricia Bay.

The family is planning a private Celebration of life at a later date. Newcomer Funeral Home in Indianapolis is honored to handled Wendi’s cremation arrangements.
